Chicken is really good for some, but for others it's horrible.
The problem with chicken, in particular, is that it contains a protein lectin that is incompatible with a certain blood-type antigen so it attacks an organ or system and begins to agglutinate cells in that area.

I am one person in particular that cannot eat chicken so I replace it with fish, eggs, and limited amounts of other lean meats.

That's very interesting that you brnig that up. A friend and I have been doing some studying on Blood Type allergies for the past couple of weeks. There are "optimal" and "modest" proteins for each blood type. It's pretty interesting actually.

it is interesting isn't it. Takes nutrition to a whole new level actually. I have found, however, that certain proteins aren't the only thing to adversly or positively affect people, depending on their blood. Wheat, for example can cause weight gain in many people, along with rye, and lentils. But for others with different blood composition it can be just fine. It's important for people to know their blood type: A , B, AB, or O. That is a starting point to picking foods that will digest easily and those that will not.

Maybe when you have finished doing more of your research you could post the results here? We could definitely help publicize it for ya

Re: Good Protein Sources When Losing Weight

Hey man hit up the GNC brand whey protein. Its cheap and one scoop has 20 grams of protein. take 2 scoops and your set. It even has a pretty good amino complex. I sold it all the time and it tastes pretty good. Vanilla is great in a smoothie. Extra lean ground beef seasoned up is awesome and of course schicken, turkey and anything lean. They make protein pudding that tastes dam good. Its called sylvester stallone pudding. Give it a try high protein and very low carbs.
