Qualifications Avid Bodybuilding Reader Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Muscle Spasms During Contraction sup cf During some of my lifts I have had this odd feeling of my muscle spasming during the contraction. For instance, when I haven't done sit ups in a while my body jerks around when I am coming up, as if I was having a mini seizure on my abs. Has anyone had these muscle spasms or could tell me what they are from? thnx |

Qualifications Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Re: Muscle Spasms During Contraction Sometimes if I work my biceps really hard, towards the end of the workout when the muscle is contracting during, for example, a curl I will feel a cramp/spasm until I relax it. |

I have noticed that I normally get it from working muscles that I don't usually use / train as hard. Like sometimes when doing large range of motion ab exercises. |
