Difference Between Gentle & Restorative Yoga to Vinyasa Yoga

hey people.
I am trying to pick classes for my next semester at college and want to take a yoga class. The two offered are Vinyasa Yoga and Gentle / Restorative Yoga.

Could anyone advise me on the differences between Vinyasa and Gentle / Restorative?

I'm looking to get more limber and relax my mind and I am a complete newbie.

Thanks a lot
-Motof

With Vinyasa Yoga, the movements flow from one position to the next in synchronization with the breathing movements.

I believe it is also known as Ashtanga Yoga (or Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga)
