Qualifications Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Re: Favourite exercise? I love lifting the most weight possible, which the deadlift allows me to achieve. I love the feel of pulling all of that weight off of the floor and how my entire body hates me for doing it. I love ripping callouses off my hands from deadlifting, not being able to hold onto anything after it since it fries my grip. The feel of my entire body getting into the lift. Nobody else in my gym does a real deadlift, most do romanian or stiff leg. So my goal of 405 is what others in the gym aren't doing. Most are benching high numbers, but not squatting or deadlifting high numbers. I mean, what's not to love. |

Qualifications Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Re: Favourite exercise? Bench or Squat. CERTAINLY not deadlift. If it was up to me, that lift would be removed from powerlifting. While I'm at it, though, does anyone have tips on good deadlift technique. You see, I hate it because I suck at it. ![]() ![]() |
