Re: Favourite exercise?

Free weight behind-the-back-wrist curls. Reverse curl cable work. Forearms for now.

Re: Favourite exercise?

I love lifting the most weight possible, which the deadlift allows me to achieve.
I love the feel of pulling all of that weight off of the floor and how my entire body hates me for doing it.
I love ripping callouses off my hands from deadlifting, not being able to hold onto anything after it since it fries my grip.
The feel of my entire body getting into the lift.
Nobody else in my gym does a real deadlift, most do romanian or stiff leg. So my goal of 405 is what others in the gym aren't doing. Most are benching high numbers, but not squatting or deadlifting high numbers.

I mean, what's not to love.

Re: Favourite exercise?

No one deadlifts in my gym. I didn't know it was actually popular till I read an article.

Re: Favourite exercise?

i would have to say 1) skull crushers followed by super sets of dumbell curls(21'S) 2) would be the one i hate the most but really love is the burn out from 5lbs to 135lbs then back down to 5lbs on the bench 3) would have to be the ORM(one rep max) just to see were my max is going and to see if im improving

Re: Favourite exercise?

For some reason I really like behind the neck presses. Not sure why. I like pull ups as well. I feel strong when I do a set of unassisted pull ups. I love feeling my lats working.

Re: Favourite exercise?

Bench or Squat. CERTAINLY not deadlift. If it was up to me, that lift would be removed from powerlifting. While I'm at it, though, does anyone have tips on good deadlift technique. You see, I hate it because I suck at it.
