Too Much Whey Protein At Once?

sup all

I remember reading in some article sometime that there is a general maximum of whey protein that you should consume at once. I don't remember the reason why (probably your body can't digest more than it or something).

Anyways, does anyone know if you shouldn't consume more than x grams of whey protein at once and why?

It concerns me when I am having 2 Optimum Nutrition Wheys in a close time period.

thanks

Why you take 2 shakes back to back like that ?

Just space it a little bit more.

I'm pretty sure your body can only absorb 27g of good protein at any one time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

Having shakes that regularly is just a waste because you won't absorb most of it.

AHA! I think that was it actually - how much protein your body can absorb at once.

Thanks

Re: Too Much Whey Protein At Once?

Nobody knows for sure how much your body can absorb at once, but I think the commonly agreed upon amount is around 40g.
