What would you consider to be the right amount for someone to consume? Meaning less than, equal to, or more than the suggested requirement listed on the bottle? What doseage per capsule? Any particular brand? Do they in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM alter my blood pressure or liver funtions? Thanks, Carl. |

Qualifications Personal Trainer Avid Bodybuilding Reader Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Re: Green Tea Extract Pills Antioxidants are particularly important in the context of organic chem and biology. All living organisms maintain a reducing environment inside their cells, all cells contain complex systems of antioxidants to prevent chemical damage to the cells' components by oxidation. These antioxidants include glutathione and ascorbic acid and are substrates for enzymes such as peroxidases. A diet containing polyphenol antioxidants from plants is required for the health of most mammals, since plants are an important source of organic antioxidant chemicals. Antioxidants are widely used for health purposes such as preventing cancer and heart disease. Sorry if I rambled on, I dont take the supp but I do take the regular tea. It aids in weight loss because there is more metabolism in the cells. That is it so there is not a lot of weight loss production. As for your bp and liver research suggests that consumption of antioxidant-rich foods reduces damage to cells and biochemicals from free radicals. This may slow down, prevent, or even reverse certain diseases that result from cellular damage, and perhaps even slow down the natural aging process. |

Qualifications Personal Trainer Looking to Learn More | Re: Green Tea Extract Pills If you are worried about green tea raising your BP there is decaffeinated green tea, (but according to Dr Weil tea doesn't really have caffeine...it's actually theophylline (also an asthma drug) but acts very much the same as caffeine) this is what I take. I actually like caffeine but for some reason regular green tea caps hurt my stomach. This one doesn't. I've read that even if you drink green tea you can still benefit from green tea in capsule form.
