What Should I Take Creatine With

I want to start trying out creatine and was wondering what people recommend for taking it with (what kind of drink)? Id rather not just start doing taste tests.

Creatine won't affect the taste of your drinks very much, the idea is kinda odd in things like milk and I have not tried that, but I have had it in protein shakes and a drink like Gatorade before and it is fine (no taste at all)

Any simple sugar liquid, preferably glucose (blood sugar). Try to stay away from acidic juices because, being a poly-peptide, creatine can be broken down by the acidity.
Water + Sugar
Apple juice
Grape Juice

I would say to get a source of Dextrose and take it with that. That would be the most Ideal.
DEXTROSE -
Quote:
Glucose (Glc), a monosaccharide (or simple sugar), is one of the most important carbohydrates. The cell uses it as a source of energy and metabolic intermediate. Glucose is one of the main products of photosynthesis and starts cellular respiration. The natural form (D-glucose) is also referred to as dextrose, especially in the food industry.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dextrose
Dextrose being glucose is the best way to take your creatine. You can get 5lb tubs at your local drug store. If not there pick up some Gatorade POWDER. The main ingredient is Dextrose or d-glucose
Stay away from Fructose.
Quote:
higher blood levels of fructose can be damaging to proteins..........Absorption of fructose without glucose present is very poor

Stick to a dextrose drink when taking it with creatine due to the rapid absorbtion.

CEE tastes nasty

placing it directly onto the tongue and rincing with a liquid containing 15g of high glycemic carbs is recommended.

The same is true of Creatine Mono, though it is not as bitter tasting.
