Qualifications Avid Bodybuilding Reader Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Benefits of Glutamine [[This thread was copied over from our old forum, that's why all the posts appear to be from me.]] yo whats up, my friends have been talking a lot about glutamine and how good it is. what are its main benefits? is glutamine safe? I have seen it around a lot at Whole Foods and supplement stores. Is glutamine mainly for bodybuilders and serious weight lifters or for everyone? this is probably an easy question but I'm still new to the gym thanks |

Qualifications Avid Bodybuilding Reader Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Re: Benefits of Glutamine yea glutamine is a pretty average supplement. A lot of people take it who just exercise in general because your glutamine levels lower after exercising and your body needs more to function. I would recommend it if you start exercising or bodybuilding on a regular basis, it has helped me out. |

By itself, it is not considered within the bodybuilding community to be as great of value as BCAA (branch chain amin acid) supplementation. Instead of supplementing daily with free form or L-Glutamine, better results can be found with BCAA supplementation. |
