Qualifications Avid Bodybuilding Reader Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Creatine when cutting? I was just curious. Here in about a month, I am gonna start cutting up for when I go home back to the states. Which gives me three months before I get home. I am taking creatine now, but, should I take it while I am dieting down? I want the best results I can get. |

Qualifications Avid Bodybuilding Reader Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Re: Creatine when cutting? Hey whats up Yes, creatine can be helpful while cutting too. Creatine can actually help when cutting to hold on more lean mass. The more atp stores & hydration will help so that your muslce doesnt waste away. And it will keep your performance up so you can lift heavier and keep the muscle while your cutting down on your diet.

Qualifications Avid Bodybuilding Reader Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Re: Creatine when cutting? The water retention is not so bad when it is in the cell because this is what gives you the power. However, water retention outside of the cell is what causes the "bloat" which is assosciated with creatine and would be bad for cutting. Normally the bloat is more so from creatine monohydrate than creatine ethyl ester because the monohydrate is not absorbed into the cell as well. Check this thread on the different types of creatine

Qualifications Avid Bodybuilding Reader I've Been to the Gym | Re: Creatine when cutting? IMO I would not use creatine as a supplement to help "cut." Hard training and moderate cardio should be sufficient. Eating more veggies (a lot more) is a really good way to lean out. Fresh veggies offer more nutrients when compared to cooked. Good luck and train hard. |
