Drinking a Protein Shake Before Working Out

I usually have a protein shake sometime during the day, and then I will sometimes want to work out soon after. If I don't wait long enough in between, though, for an intense workout it will make me puke, anyone else have this problem/how long do you wait?

if you intake a protein shake wait at least 1 hour before you workout, and make sure you get some fat and carbs also to give you more energy durring a workout.

I eat a meal/drink a shake before I lift always. I will wait 45-60 min before touching weights. On my leg day, the most intense day of my week, I tend to wait 60-70 min so I can make sure everything is settled before I train. You always have to listen to what your body tells you.

45-60 min, depending on metabolism, complex (low glycemic) carbs, such as steel cut or rolled oats, should be added to a quality whey protein source prior to training.
