just sayin' HI

hello everyone... I thought I'd drop in and say HI... my name is Tanisha and I live in Orlando, FL.

I workout out almost everyday... fasted AM cardio 6 to 7 day's a week and lifting 4 days a week. I'm planning on competing in Figure competitions next year. I have competed once before, back in 2003, but not since. I dieted down too quickly the first time and ended up losing muscle as well as fat, then I rebounded REALLY badly and gained everything back plus an extra 10 lbs., so I'm taking it very very slowly this time and doing everything right. I've gained a considerable amount of muscle in the past couple of years, especially this last year, and I've dropped down from 34% body fat to 24%. I want to be between 16% and 18% by Christmas and then down to competition level (12-14%) by March 2007 for the begining of the competition season.

a little about my non-gym time... I'm a marketing coordinator for a civil engineering firm, I am a certified yoga instructor through AFPA, I'm currently working on my personal training certification through ISSA and next year I plan on going back to school for my Massage Therapy degree. I'm married to a civil engineer and have a cat and one fish.

welcome to the forums. I look forward to hearing your input coming from a yoga point of view. i'm definitely looking to learn more about it and start incorporating it into my routines
