I played QB and FS in high school, though I rarely saw the field on offense. I am much more of a natural fit for WR, but we were too thin at QB. I had a few offers to play DII ball but had a really bad foot injury my senior year (lisfranc sprain) and took about 3 months to recover, so I decided to focus on tennis. I have played 2 seasons of college tennis and I have since quit.

I guess you could say I'm looking to build up without ballooning outwards. I have gained about 15 lbs this summer but I am developing a small beer gut. I have read over and over that the only way to lose this sort of thing is massive amounts of running.. which I shy away from due to my surgically repaired foot... Any ideas? I want to get back to my 6-pack days!

Re: hey hey

I run about 2 miles 3x a week on a treadmill (7.5 mph) but I am not noticing a great improvement with the slimming aspect. I am a pop-aholic and I have switched to Diet... but I still have about 3 cans a day... other than that i eat great. just cant shed that extra fat pouch on my stomach

Re: hey hey

Your young. As time goes on and you heal more and increase cardio you will burn the fat. Drink juice in place of pop.I am glad you say pop.I thought I was the only one. I am older and tried to spot reduce my belly fat. You cant do it.Eat clean and burn fat with cardio activity. Good luck! You drink pop!

Re: hey hey

Better than the pop. I like any citrus juice. It also helps with digestion. You put on weight so maybe you could diet down a little now and get that six pack back.I dont know how far along you are with the healing from surgery. You know your body more than anyone else.Do cardio according to how you feel and what doc says!Be safe. Work together with doc.Know what you can and cant do.
