Hi all.

I met gymbum on another forum where I told him about my plan to gain weight by getting extra protein from a product called TrimShake. Sounds crazy so I probably need your advice but it has helped me gain 3 kg so far.

Basically instead of using the 235 calorie, vitamin-full, 26 grams of protein shake as a meal replacer I use it as a 4th or on good days 5th meal.

Anyway, I'm a professor of SLA, work with supplements and skin care, and am a webmaster. In my free time I'm all about karaoke, museums, language learning, and traveling.

I guess I'm here because a recent physical warned me I wasn't as healthy as I thought I was. I've been rather smug since I went from sickly (colds, doctors, hospitals, ERs, etc.) to robust (have gotten one cold in the past 2-3 years). I thought I was perfectly healthy until I found I was 22% bodyfat.

Now I run everyday and work my arms a little every other day. It's just a start. My next step will be some dumbbells and an exercise ball and a yoga mat...

Thank you for all the welcome messages. Just one minor correction: it's not that I'm becoming healthy, more like healthier. A few years ago I was genuinely unhealthy and that was terrible.

Transformationed is the option for people who have turned their life around with bodybuilding/fitness/health. For example, one of my friends used to be scrawny and into drugs, got clean through rehab and is now a health nut and bodybuilder.
