How Do Thermogenics Work for Fat Loss?

This is along the same lines as my other question about the side effects of hydroxycut & thermogenics -

How do these products work really? I have read a few articles and see that they can help raise your metabolism so that you can burn more fat?

I will have to do more research on the science part of it, but I know that it is known for increasing metabolism.

Also, for the ones with caffeine in it, caffeine affects your body by making it tap more into fat storage for energy

this is part of it... caffeine is an appetite suppresant and helps to 'warm' you up... which then your body has to fight that to 'cool' you off, hence getting you back to your normal temperature

this is the same reason some people will tell you to drink HOT drinks when it's hot outside and cold drinks when it's cold outside... you're making your body work twice as hard to keep you at your normal temperature

yes that is right, it is called homeostasis where your body fights to keep its ideal working conditions. even if it one degree higher than normal homeostasis kicks in to being it back down. the idea of taking a high quality thermogenic can work but the supplement Thermogenic sold at GNC is a waste of money. this is a good rule of thumb if you bought something from GNC throw it in the trash
