Preparing Lots of Egg Whites

Hello all new here, going to start new mass diet that i read about from here. The diet says 12 Egg Whites in the morning. My question is on side of cartoon of egg whites say you can mix liquid egg whites with a protein drink. I thought you had to cook eggs first, but if not it would be lot easier drinking 12 eggs than preparing and eating.

Re: egg white's

I have a ways to go for eating 12 in one morning, however, I have seen the diet and seen someone use it. (http://www.chronicfitness.com/nutrit...he-basics.html)

At first, preparing 12 egg whites seems ABSURD but there are liquid egg whites that you can buy at the store. For a while, I bought the Eggology liquid egg whites (http://www.eggology.com) They are a little pricey and can't be found at all stores though and I have since changed over to "All Egg Whites" by Papetti Foods

You can easily mix it into your shake it and it for the most part tasteless.

I drink 6 egg whites and 2 yolks first thing in the morning along with a whey protein shake. The workout is about 45 minutes later followed by another whey shake and 6 more egg whites. That equates to 140 grams of protein before 8:00 am. Great way to start the day IMO!

You drink your egg whites? Hey, whatever works for you. I would personally perfer to scramble my egg whites and eat them hot and cooked. They taste really good that way.

Just as an FYI I would not neccessarly recommend a whole food meal like that pre-workout, that would be better served as your second post-workout meal to the thread poster. But no, 12 egg whites is not a huge amount and no where near the equivilant to 12 eggs. But, that depends on how big you are and many calories you're looking to consume, and your goals ect. For example I weigh about 190lbs off season and my second post workout meal is 8 egg whites, 2 slices white toast, 1 serving protein shake. I consume on average 4,000 calories/day. Hope that helps.

btw if you consume lots of egg whites, Lana's Egg Whites are the best, very bodybuilding freindly company, Lana is awesome, and the customer service is the best. I won't buy anything else. But, they are expensive and you must pay for shipping so it's really only a good value if you eat a lot of them.

Best!

Cannot stand egg whites, have to force them down so rarely eat them but always leave the yolk in as a treat.

It's all timing with me Chris. When I do have the time on a Sunday night, I'll boil a dozen of them for post w/o's, but they are gone in 2 days so it's a wash. I know where you are coming from on the pre-w/o whole foods. I used to just down a whey shake, but my insulin levels were dropping mid-way through my training. I added the egg whites / yolks and have had no problems since.
