Qualifications Personal Trainer Looking to Learn More I've Been to the Gym | Re: Is It Bad That Most of My Protein Comes from Shakes? honestly (there will be others to say that im wrong) Protein is Protein were you get it doesnt matter as long as you get it period...look at it this way Vegatreins (cant spell im a meat eater) dont get any Protein at all...but they consume supplements ....i personally enjoy vanilla Pinnacle protein powder its about the best you can get for a very cheap price...if you cant stand powder form protein try Liqued diet protein shakes ...they are very taste..and ( again everyone will say dont do it) but a liqued diet for a month will help you lose un wanted lbs you dont want..good luck and god bless |

I think it's beneficial to eat whole, unprocessed foods for more benefit than just the protein. Lean meats contain other good things besides protein. Nothing wrong with protein supplements though in my opinion. Sarah |

I would say I get 60% of my protein from shakes between protein shakes & MRPs. However I do continue to consume a significant amount of whole food. There are many important things your body needs in whole foods. Remember, we've evolved to eat, not drink our diets. |
