From a time standpoint, tanning booths are more convenient. You can get a pretty all over tan in between 10 and 20 miniutes depending on the intensity of the bulbs. Now they have bronzing spray that'll quicken your tan.

Really that is not true. I believe for the sake of the contest you need a suntan and the protan. But as far as which you use sunbed or real sun. That is not true they both are very harmful. Basically tanning in a bed is like being in a microwave. I worked in salons for years and it is proven that skin cancer has increased in young people. Just don't bake in either for long periods of time.
