Girls and High School Football

There's alot of guys on here, so i need ur perspective on this. I play football all the time, just not for school, my best positions are reciever and full back, but im also pretty good at any other position. I would've asked to play, but my cousins didnt like the idea. Id like to know why they wouldn't like the fact that i wanted to play on the team with them.

I dont know if you want to have children some day but if you do maybe taking hits to the stomach might not be a good idea.Any thoughts on that?

A lot of guys have a hard time hitting women, that could be why. something to do with how our society works

nope not convinced yet, I can take hits, okay another thing: I believe that if a girl hits a guy, it gives the guy the right to hit back in self defense. A woman hitting a man, is just as bad as a man hitting a woman.

Re: Girls and High School Football

According to Varsity edge.com Student- Athlete Resource Center for high school players, parents, and coaches.Out of roughly 11,500 division 1 football players, only 2% will even get drafted by a pro team.% for girls? Risk vs. Return on investment for playing football ! Pro Reggie Williams, when asked his greatest strengths as a football player. Speed, strength, and the ability to register pain immediately. Long time female comedian Phillis Diller when asked why woman dont play football. The reason woman dont play football is because eleven of them would never wear the same outfit in public.

Re: Girls and High School Football

i had the unfortunate experience of playing with a girl on my high school football team. not to stereotype, but this girl was completely worthless on the field. what was worse, is that she acted like she was a superstar for even trying, and the rest of the team resented her for being in the spotlight even though she gave little to the team.

football is a mans sport.

I aint stuck up or anything like that, but last time I played football with my cousins they got mad at me for sacking my cousin, they said I was playin too rough its not my fault my cousin couldnt take the hit after all we weren't playin tag-football. I dont have a probablem wearin the same outfit in public because Im always being asked why I wear mens clothing its not my fault its just soo much more comfortable than the clothes they make for women.

Re: Girls and High School Football

by the way: unless your hs team is a powerhouse, the more important parts of the game is learning and increasing discipline, so if you do decide to do it, go in with an open mind... football is much different than a lot of ppl think. it is very much a one of a kind experience, so go for it!
