Colin is correct. I should not joke so much. If you choose to play I wish you the best of luck!

i want you to go for it --i want you to dress for it!- i want you to kick their asses---but!!!!!! be careful and if you find your ass getting kicked you better stop cuz most guys may not wanna hit a girl hard but there is always one asshole who has something to prove and would love to stop a girl from proving herself

Re: Girls and High School Football

I understand what lottalead is saying to you and I respect his pep talk.I feel I have to add a little more to this.I told you my thoughts on girls playing football,I joked with you,and I wished you the best. And I mean that. Please keep things in perspective. We have a school here called Central Catholic ranked first in the state by Pennsylvania Football News and first in the east.A seventh ranking in the nation by Sporting News School Sports. This team and many just like it are trained for speed, strength, and toughness.A football jersey does not say boy or girl.It has a number on it and some a name.I am not trying to be a smart ass just make you aware that football is a full contact, hard nose, sport. And to be aware that players are coached to give 100% each and every play start to finish.I have seen many a play book and not one ever said give percentage of effort according to gender. When playing football always stay focused.Best of luck again!bronson

Im not in football, I had only asked if I should've. Its too late now plus its my senior year, and Im going to STATE competition for Marching Band. Ive always wondered why and well I finally asked, and I think everyone here for their help. Now I know for future reference because if I have children I'll support all them in letting them play any sport they wish.
