College Football 2006

How many of you are ready for the upcoming college football season? Who's going to be playing for the national championship this year?

Plan on making it to an Auburn game this year. They are the media pick to win the SEC; don't know about the national title.

I think Texas will make another run. Southern Cal should be reloading. Ohio State and Notre Dame probably will be tough.

I like Ohio State to take it home this year under the leadership of Troy Smith & that always tough defense. But, damn I hate them. I'm pulling for Michigan....GO BLUE!

University of Louisville of course. Brian Brohm and Michael Bush in a weak Big East conference. We have all of the hard games coming here where we run up the score on people.

Louisville better look out..."The U" is coming to town Sept 16! That's gonna be a BIG early weekend for college football featuring:

Louisville v Miami
Notre Date v Michigan
Nebraska v USC
Auburn v LSU
Tennessee v Florida
Clemson v FSU

Some people's Natl Title hopes are gonna take a hurting early, it's just a matter of who...

Honestly I'm more worried about the road games vs "easy" teams then Miami and West Virginia coming to Louisville.

You're not worried about Miami??? Miami has never lost to Louisville (9-0-1). You're brave! I can't say I wouldn't about Miami to go anywhere & win.

Re: College Football 2006

Louisville did beat Florida State a couple of years ago, but I think FSU was a little weak that year. Miami sort of went down during the latter part of last season. LSU destroyed them in the Peach Bowl. It's going to be interesting to see how the new offensive and defensive coordinators will help the Canes this year (the formers were fired after the LSU game last year). Also, if I'm not mistaken, do they have a new quarterback?
