Misunderstandings and Disagreements in Posts

Hey Everyone,

Something I have noticed in other forums that I would like to prevent on this forum is the hostility that can develop between members because of misunderstandings and disagreements.

In posts, misunderstandings can be very common because the text carries no personality to show neutrality or friendliness. Make sure to take this into consideration when reading posts that may appear as hostile before being offended.

In regards to disagreements: There will be disagreements on the forum because varying degrees of opinion and personal experience are involved. However, disagreements should be based on facts, supported with whatever evidence possible, and not involve attacks on members. Remember, everyone is after the same goal in a disagreement: getting the most beneficial and factual information. alb_tex has addressed this issue very well in one of his posts:

Thanks for helping create an excellent community and resource for quality information.

All the best,
