| Re: Should I Stop Eating Fat? It's a silly conception that if you eat fat it automatically goes to your waist. Things like trans-fats and the like are not bad for you because they make you heavier, they are bad because they cause fat buildup in your blood stream and such. To shred the pounds you gotta work the muscles. Once fat starts to go it should start to fade pretty steadily. Do not confuse fat loss with weight loss. You could loose all the fat on your body and weigh the same or even more depending on how much muscle you mass.
Not to say that fat and muscle weight different. 1pound is a 1 pound, simply that muscle is more dense (nearly 5 times) so it takes up less space. So I like to say measure your success on whether your pants fit, rather than what the scale reads. |
