| Re: Boxing to Lose Weight I'm a 7-0 former amateur boxer. I too was a weight lifter while I boxed until I realized I needed to make a decision as far as weight lifting vs. boxing goes. My buddy that did it was too far into his weight lifting career weighing 240 lbs, and benching 365 lbs. Me? I decided to lay off.
Boxing is a great way to lose weight. Running, punching bags, mitts, sparring, boxing the rope, warm-up exercises, shadow boxing, boxing the shield, etc. |
