I would still say you should do a leg workout unless your runs are INTENSE.

DDR and cardio style running won't cut it.

As far as eating, having a high metabolism will actually help you to eat a lot because you can digest it faster. You have to start working on CONSCIOUSLY eating, not just when you are hungry.
