| Why Is Candy Bad For You?

Every time I go to eat some candy, I double take, think about it being bad for me, and try to opt for a healthier snack. However, when I thought more about this I realized that I didn't really know why candy is bad for you.
I know that it has a lot of sugar but not sure what really makes it bad for you. Could anyone fill me in on why candy is bad for you?
