Just as an FYI I would not neccessarly recommend a whole food meal like that pre-workout, that would be better served as your second post-workout meal to the thread poster. |
It's all timing with me Chris. When I do have the time on a Sunday night, I'll boil a dozen of them for post w/o's, but they are gone in 2 days so it's a wash. I know where you are coming from on the pre-w/o whole foods. I used to just down a whey shake, but my insulin levels were dropping mid-way through my training. I added the egg whites / yolks and have had no problems since.
