That was an interesting read. I know just from my own dealings with soy. I have 3 kids and all of them used soy formula. My oldest is grown and she is straight. I have 2 boys who are high school age and they both have girl friends. When they get home from school I'll check again just to make sure.J/k. LOL.
I know when I was younger, back in the 70's, soy protein was a big deal. Bob Hoffman of York Barbell in Pa. would have it for sale in his health food stores. I can tell you when we were teenagers we drank a lot of it. I didn't like the taste of it and the only way I would drink is mixed with peanut butter, honey, or fruit to kill the taste. We would crack eggs into the drink also, later to find out this wasn't a good idea either. I can still hear an older guy saying to me, don't put raw eggs in your drink,it can be toxic! Anyway, these are my dealings with soy. |
