It's only a matter of time before that happens. I think there will be a 16 team playoff come 2009, which is when all the contracts run out. But, it's gonna take a major committment from the presidents of schools in big time conferences. But, the good new is Florida's president is already pushing for it, and he's the first president of a national football powerhouse in a big time conference that has done that. So, I think the BCS will continue to draw pressure, and when the current contracts are up, and playoff will be in place. But, it will take another five years. |
