What are your thoughts? | In a perfect world it would be best to take a total of: 0.17 X (your lean body weight in pounds) = # of grams of BCAA to take Take 1/2 B4 work out, and start taking the rest about 30 min into your work out if it’s a strenuous work out. Then to supp with some additional leucine in your post work out shake. Studies have shown that leucine will increase your body’s production of insulin to help take in the protein you consume it better. The BCAA's will help prevent the breakdown of muscle for energy, and both inselin and BCAA's will help prevent your body from producing more cortisol. I just take in 15 grams BCAA 10 min B4 work out, and another 10 I sip on through out my work out. I don’t supp with leucine in my post work out shake for the time being. |
