Go for the closest food to a 1:1 dextrose(glucose)/fructose ratio. Glucose reloads the muscle and fructose reloads the liver. and fructose thats not burned goes to fat.
so, immediately after your workout
BCAA/EAA's (1/4 teaspoon per 35 pounds bodyweight)
also, a banana would be very efficient.
remember juices are mostly sucrose, which in turn will go to fat. |
