Hey whats up
I wanted to take a moment to explain what Reputation is on a forum.
On a forum, you can't get to know everyone and how good their reputation is when it comes to giving advice or any other sort of discussion. That is why there is a Reputation Point System in place.
If someone gives you good advice, you want to show the community that that person helped you and gave quality advice. To do this, click the little "Balance". Then, select if you approve or disapprove of their post. If you disapprove, the user loses reputation, and likewise, if you approve, they gain reputation. You can also leave a note with your approval. PLEASE DO NOT DISAPPROVE PEOPLE SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU ARGUE OR DISAGREE ETC, these should be left for serious situations.
To tell if someone has a good reputation in the community, you can tell by the colored boxes & stars under their number of posts in the info box next to any of their posts.
Lots of Green Boxes means good reputation (with enough green boxes, you will begin to get stars too!)
Lots of Red Boxes means bad reputation.
The more reputation you have, the more you can affect others' reputation.
Please utilize this system and thanks for taking the time to learn about it, it's very helpful.
Thanks
